Life in Tucson

Living in Tucson has its perks. The weather is nice–no extremes (except for hot June, and even that is bearable after the sun goes down), beautiful scenery, and getting to see family that we haven’t seen in years.  Last weekend we had a delightful visit with my cousin Mike and his wife, Tammy, who live in Illinois. Last month it was my brother Tracy from northern California, and the month before, my cousin Carol and her husband Chuck, who also live in Illinois.  Tucson is the “go-to” spot when one wants to get away from less-friendly climates, i.e., the beautiful place in the sun where one can see snow atop the mountains that are an hour’s drive away, and still bask in the sunlight and at least 60’s temperatures with no shoveling of the white stuff.
